We have developed the constructive project for the creation of a new terminal in Odessa’s International Airport to adapt it to the rise in passenger numbers.

Odessa International Airport, located 7.5 km from the city, has undergone a significant increase in passenger traffic. More than 60 airports are now connected to Odessa through 16 airlines which operate 110 flights a week. The flow of passengers has increased steadily and just in the first quarter of 2011 it grew by 10% to reach 343,000 in total. This growth rate is expected to intensify in coming years.

The situation required an expansion plan that leads to the creation of a terminal, whose constrcution project is being carried out by Ineco.

This extension will increase the airport´s current yearly passenger capacity from 800,000 to 4 million.

The new building has a ground surface area of 11,000 m² and four storeys, giving a total built up area of 26,500 m². It has a rectangular ground plan and two glazed façades, one on the airfield side and the other on the land connection side. An undulating roof covers the entire building and extends beyond the exterior envelope to protect the accesses.
