Ineco Tifsa has participated in the 3rd EUROMED Aviation Project ATM Seminar, which took place on 3 and 4 March in Brussels. Among the participants we can highlight the presence of representatives from the MEDA beneficiary countries of the project (Algiers, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Jordan, Israel, Syria, Palestinian Authority and Lebanon), EUROCONTROL, OACI, SESAR JU, ACAC (Arab Civil Aviation Commission) and the European Commission.

On the Group's behalf, both Javier Pérez Diestro, ATM Management and Planning Manager and Andrea Nemec, Ineco Tifsa Representative in Brussels gave talks on the drafting of a road map for these countries and on the project's ATM-related activities, respectively.

Throughout its three years of duration, the EUROMED Aviation Project will have the mission of defining a common Euro-Mediterranean area implementation plan and evaluating the impact of the creation of said area, the objectives of which are the following:

• Promote an open and competitive regional aviation market.
• Foster enhanced operating security within the region.
• Foster enhanced physical security within the region.
• Promote greater respect for the environment in terms of air transport within the region.
• Enhance co-operation and harmonisation in Air Traffic Management.
