Juan Torrejón, Chairman of Ineco Tifsa, presented the book "Salidas, llegadas y transbordos. Una reflexión sobre las terminales de transporte", at the Círculo de Bellas Artes of Madrid, together with the co-ordinator and co-author of the book, Miguel Aguiló.

The other authors of the book also attended the presentation: Fernando Aragón, Javier de Cos, Franchis Fernández Lafuente, Carlos Ferrán, Marcos García Cruzado, Arcadio Gil, Fernando Gutiérrez del Arroyo, Joaquín Martínez Vilanova, Antonio Sarabia and Guillermo Vázquez.

This book represents an in-depth analysis of the role played by terminals in Spain in the past, present and future, seen from a multi-modal and innovative viewpoint and dealing with all aspects of terminals, both the most general and technical aspects, that is, those relative to the operating or architectural scheme of a terminal.

In this regard, the authors pointed out that the most important investments made in the last twenty years in faster vehicles and linear infrastructures have successfully improved travel experience and that "now is the time to deal with departures, arrivals and transfers as moments of growing importance necessarily linked to the journey." These places -railway stations, airports, underground stations, seaports, etc.,- must improve at the same pace as the infrastructures and vehicles.

Its multidisciplinary nature, based on the authors' training and experience in different areas of study and management within the field of transport, make this book an essential reference in the sector.

The authors were accompanied at the event by a large group of managers and professionals from the transport world.
