Ineco, through its branch company Inecomex – partly owned by Adif- will carry out together with its local partner Cal y Mayor Asociados, the management of the projects for the direction, coordination and control of the extension of line 12 of the metro in Mexico City, on the stretch of Mixcoac-Observatorio.

A team of 80 professionals will be deployed in order to guarantee an adequate execution of the works from the beginning until the commissioning of the extension.

The extension of the 4km of the line 12 and the construction of 3 new stations will significantly improve the mobility between the western and southern points of the city, solving the saturation of the existing lines and reinforcing the transport system as a whole.

Ineco has a solid experience in Mexico thanks to projects of special relevance in its portfolio such as the technical assistance to the concession of the Buenavista – Cuautitlán line for Ferrocarriles Suburbanos, the drafting of development master plans for 12 airports of the Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico – GAP -, and the works undertaken for the roads of the country, among which are the tasks as Supervising Agent for the Guadalajara – Colima highway, or the signalling improvement of the Mexico – Veracruz, Mexico – Irapuato and Mexico – Acapulco highways.
