Spain-Mexico Agreement. Ineco signs collaboration agreement with Mexico's Banco Nacional de Obras

The Chairman of Ineco Tifsa, Fernando Palao, and the General Manager of Banobras, Alonso García Tamés, have signed a collaboration framework agreement as part of the Mexico Infrastructure Conference 2010 to develop Mexico's transport infrastructures.

Through this agreement, Ineco and the Banco Nacional de Obras y Servicios Públicos, the banking institution of the Mexican Secretariat of Finance and Public Credit have established the bases for working together on transport infrastructure initiatives and projects in the areas of air, road, railway and maritime transport, with the aim of applying innovative technologies to Mexico's infrastructures.

The alliance between the two companies is part of the framework of the 2007-2012 Mexican National Infrastructure Programme, which encourages collaboration with Spanish transport sector companies to carry out projects to improve and modernise Mexico's infrastructures.

The five year agreement, which starts from its signing date, was signed with the endorsement of the Mexican Ministry of Public Works, through the Secretary of State for Planning and Infrastructures, Victor Morlán, and the Secretariat of Finance and Public Credit, through its Secretary, Ernesto Cordero Arroyo, and in the presence of the Mexican Ambassador to Spain, Jorge Zermeño, and the Secretary of Communications and Transport of Mexico, Juan Francisco Molinar.
