The 1st promotion of the Diploma in Specialisation in Railway Operational Safety is already a reality
36 students have received the title that certifies them as graduates in the Specialisation Program in Railway Operational Safety of the Carlos III University. Comprehensive training in the field of safety, promoted by Ineco, together with Adif, Adif Alta Velocidad, the State Railway Safety Agency and Renfe.
The event was attended by the Secretary General for Infrastructure, and President of the State Railway Safety Agency, Xavier Flores, in addition to Ineco teachers and professionals, Moisés Gilaberte, Montserrat Álvarez, Javier Gallego and Francisco Cifuentes. In his speech, he highlighted the value that the program provides for the development of the railway system, and as a model of collaboration between the entities promoting it, in a particularly relevant area such as operational safety.
The teaching methodology of this diploma course is practical, granting the student a theoretical-experimental training, applicable in the resolution of problems that may arise in the day-to-day of the safe management of all the procedures used that pursue a safe functionality of the infrastructure. and of the railway superstructure, highlighting the significance of the application of the standards and technical legislation that regulate the railway sector.
