Ineco will continue to carry out the advisory work for the commissioning and operational transition (ORAT) of the new terminal at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ).

Terminal 1, which will replace the old Terminal A building built in 1973, will have 33 boarding gates, a new aircraft parking apron, a public parking lot with 2,750 spaces and new access roads.

The company has extensive experience with ORAT in more than 20 airports, from its first contracts with Aena in Spain (Madrid, Barcelona, Alicante and Malaga) to the contract to carry out the operational transition and the start-up of the new terminal at Abu Dhabi's Midfield Terminal Complex airport.
