Guadalajara airport prepares for the future

Projects
Aeronáutico

As part of the process of expanding the capacity of the Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico (GAP) airports, Ineco and Inecomex have defined the expansion of the Guadalajara Airport airfield, one of the most important and complex projects in the modernisation plan for this infrastructure.  As a result of this work, GAP has once again entrusted our company and its subsidiary with the drafting of the basic and executive projects for the airfield works and an extension to add two new commercial apron positions. Guadalajara International Airport is the third largest airport in the country and is located in the state of Jalisco.

The Master Programmes of the Mexican airports of Guadalajara, Tijuana, Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta, Guanajuato, Hermosillo, La Paz, Mexicali, Morelia, Aguascalientes, Los Mochis and Manzanillo have been updated until 2034 by Ineco. In a context of strong growth in the Mexican air market, these plans will allow airports to have sufficient capacity to cope with the growth in demand.
