Ineco, at Middle East Rail 2022
Ineco has participated this week in Middle East Rail 2022, the leading railway trade fair in the Middle East. The company has once again shown its experience and expertise in this field with a space alongside other associated companies at Mafex, the Spanish Railway Association.
The event brought together in two days the main players of the railway sector present in the Gulf countries, highlighting the role of Etihad Rail, which organized it and leads the main railway investments in the United Arab Emirates.
Ineco's track record in this part of the world is evident in projects such as the Haramain, the high-speed railway linking the Saudi cities of Makkah-Madinah, the railway and metro masterplan for Kuwait, as well as the expansion of its airport, and the ORAT of the new terminal in Abu Dhabi. In addition, at Damman airport, Ineco is leading the Master Plan and has led the Project Management for the recently completed automated baggage handling system. Also in Egypt, the company is in charge of the feasibility study for the High-Speed Railway between Cairo and Luxor.
The institutional delegation led by the CEO of Etihad and the Minister of Transport of the United Arab Emirates visited the Spanish stand, where the Spanish Ambassador explained the strengths and extensive experience of Spanish companies in this sector.
