Ineco participates in Innotrans 2018
From 18 to 21 September, Ineco took part in Innotrans 2018, as part of the Spanish delegation made up of 50 companies and organized by MAFEX (the Spanish Railway Association).
A total of 3,062 exhibitors, from more than 60 counties came together in Berlin at the world’s largest railway trade fair, to present the new developments related to railway technology, infrastructure, rolling stock, public transport and tunnel construction.
The Minister of Public Works, José Luis Ábalos, visited our stand, accompanied by the president of Adif, Isabel Pardo de Vera and the president of Renfe, Isaías Táboas. In his presentation at the Mafex stand, the minister addressed its members, highlighting the strong focus that has been given to railways in Spain, and he noted that our country has one of the largest high-speed railway network in the world, second only to China, with more than 3,300 kilometres in service. He also reiterated his support for the internationalization of Spain’s railway sector and highlighted that Spanish companies have become world leaders in the design, construction and management of railways.
At this year’s event, our representatives met with delegations from other companies and entities from different countries, existing clients, potential partners and clients, in order to seek out commercial opportunities, strengthen our relations in the sector, and strengthen Ineco’s positioning as a leader in railway consulting and engineering.
