The Minister of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, Raquel Sánchez, inaugurated today the leading international fair in the rail sector, Rail Live, that is currently taking place in Madrid. Focused on innovation, technology and transformation of the railway industry, the event has involved the participation of Carmen Librero, president of Ineco, who has valued the company's innovative capacity beyond the standard patterns that have always been linked to the railway, opening doors to pioneering initiatives that, not only are committed to continuing to advance towards a safer, more sustainable and connected transport model, but also more inclusive.

Ineco, as Engineering Partner of the event, has a relevant presence in the conference program through presentations by in-house professionals, including: "ERTMS deployment in Europe: Status and strategies to ensure coordination”, by Alfonso Lorenzo; "Evolution of railway architecture and the gender perspective", by Antonio Sancho and Raquel Alonso; and "Rail Baltica Global project. Communication Strategy, a risk mitigator? Ineco's view", by Juan Luis Monjarás. In addition, Silvia Domínguez, an ERTMS expert, has participated in the round table that EIM (European Rail Infrastructure Managers) has organized under the title "Delivering the sophisticated rail infrastructure network for the European Network of tomorrow".

This edition revolves around three main themes: sustainability, liberalization of the railway market and digitization of the industry. The exhibition welcomes more than 130 exhibitors and 220 speakers from network and infrastructure operators from around the world, sponsoring private companies and industry associations.
