Aimed at girls and young women from the fourth year of primary school to the second year of baccalaureate, the new Ineco conCiencia programme was created with the aim of promoting STEAM careers and thus contributing to reducing the existing gender gap in these disciplines. The programme is being presented as part of the commemoration of International Women's Day and will begin in April with talks that Ineco's STEAM professionals will give at educational centres proposed by their own employees, both in Spain and in the rest of the countries in which the company operates.

With this programme, Ineco strengthens the commitment acquired a year ago with its adhesion to the Steam Alliance of the Ministry of Education and Vocational Education. This challenge is taken up by Ineco's STEAM women, who represent 57% of the company's total female talent, and who will now become, with the new Ineco with Science programme, a point of reference for girls and adolescents aged between 10 and 18.

With this action, the company aims to raise awareness of STEAM as disciplines with a high social value that allow professional careers such as engineering to be developed, with a direct impact on people's quality of life.

The initiative is in addition to others already launched by Ineco, such as the Mujeres In programme, focused on the professional development of the company's participants, which is entering its fifth edition in 2023. Thanks to the programme, 42 women have received an 18-month training and mentoring programme during the first four editions.
