Ineco continues with its agenda at Innotrans, the world's largest global event dedicated to railway technology held in Berlin. On this occasion, the president of Ineco, Sergio Vázquez Torrón, has recibed at our stand Raquel Sánchez, Minister of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda.

Thus, Raquel Sánchez, has been able to see firsthand the innovative solutions that Ineco is presenting at this fair and that allow us to position ourselves as a relevant company in the field of railway technology.

The use of drones, combined with the application of new technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Big Data or Machine Learning, makes it possible to improve the quality of infrastructure while extending their life and making them more efficient. Ineco has more than 40 years of experience in the inspection of all types of structures (bridges, viaducts) and, since 2015, has been doing so with the use of drones.

Aiming to go one step further, the company is also involved in the development of a remote inspection solution for railway tracks with 5G and drones equipped with high-resolution cameras to collect images of railway tracks. This innovative project allows automatic prediction and evaluation of roads and infrastructure remotely and in real time from any point, multiplying maintenance efficiency and optimising processes.

In addition, the use of drones on the railway also allows a better control of the vegetation that coexists on the tracks, directly influencing the prediction of the evolution of these natural elements, thus improving the analysis of herbicide treatments and intervention times.
