New Ineco Forum: the Spanish hallmark and Ineco's experience in the internationalisation of engineering

The Ágora room at Ineco's main offices has once again hosted a day of debate and exhibition in a new Ineco Forum, this time under the name 'The Value of Internationalisation'. The president of Ineco, Sergio Vázquez Torrón, was in charge of opening this edition in which the hallmark of Spanish engineering and the accumulated experience of Ineco outside our borders was highlighted.

Thus, during his speech, he stressed that "this is one of the sectors in which Spain is showing its strengths without complexes. When Spain wants to showcase its overall capabilities as a country, it displays the strength and modernisation of its transport infrastructure, with high-speed rail being its flagship". The president stressed the importance of maintaining the country's leadership position: "We have the best talent. And we all have to work to recognise it and cultivate it as it deserves".

The international projects in which Ineco is currently involved, such as the High Speed Railway in the United Kingdom or the updating of the 2025 transport master plan in Malta, mean that "we are one of the engineering companies capable of leading the way outside Spain and leaders in turnover in the transport sector", he pointed out during his speech.

In order to discuss these and other issues, Ineco was joined by Ignacio Imaz, head of the Transport Infrastructure Sector at ICEX, Ainara González, head of Trade Policy and Institutional Relations at Mafex and Mariano Muñoz, chief economic and commercial advisor at the Spanish Economic and Commercial Office in Warsaw. Together they were able to present their vision in a debate under the name 'Spanish Hallmark' and moderated by Juan Ramón Hernández, commercial director of Ineco.

In addition, 'Ineco Experience' has been another of the colloquiums that has been the protagonist of this Ineco Forum. Luis Negrete, Ineco's Director of International Projects, was in charge of leading a talk in which Yolanda Río, Ramón Gironés, Rebeca Fernández and Issac Mateo, professionals with extensive experience in the company's international projects, discussed Ineco's international projects. Ainhoa Zubieta, Ineco's International Business General Manager, was in charge of closing this interesting conference, which you can view here.
