The Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda (Mitma) has activated the second call for aid to municipalities to digitise and decarbonise urban mobility, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (RTRP)

Ineco supports Mitma throughout the grant award process, which ranges from the preparatory work, such as the drafting of the regulatory bases, the instructions to participate, the evaluation criteria and the forms. Also, the period for submitting applications, which includes attention to potential beneficiaries, up to the award of the aid, the monitoring of the execution of the actions and the payments.

The call is endowed with 500 million euros from European Next Generation funds, thereby complementing the budget of 1,500 million euros provided for this line of the RTRP. The objective of the program is to decarbonise urban and metropolitan mobility and improve the air quality of our cities, through the implementation of low emission zones and the sustainable and digital transformation of urban transport and mobility. The potential beneficiaries are the provincial capitals and municipalities with more than 20,000 inhabitants, who may submit applications for aid through the website of the Ministry until September 29, 2022, at which time the call will be closed in competitive competition.
