Railway connections for a more efficient port

Ineco was involved in extension of the South Basin through several agreements with the Castellón Port Authority to develop the railway accesses to this important maritime terminal.

The first of these agreements was for technical assistance provided by Ineco team on the drafting of the necessary documentation during the renovation of the northern rail access.

Due to an increase in freight movement in the Dársena Sur (South Basin) the Port Authority decided to build a new rail access to the southern port area and entrusted Ineco with drafting the Analysis of Alternatives and Development of Options for the New South Rail Access to the Port of Castellón.

The preparation of the project for execution on the infrastructure and superstructure of the South Basin rail access is currently being carried out.

These projects have enabled Ineco to boost and consolidate its business activities in the maritime sector.
