Our company will be part of the Technical Committee that the inter-ministerial commission for the implementation of the BIM methodology (Building Information Modelling) has created to assist it in the exercise of its functions. Thus, within this Committee, the company will collaborate in the development of a draft Plan for the implementation of the BIM methodology in public procurement, which is expected to be submitted for approval by the Council of Ministers in 2023.

Likewise, Ineco will participate in the drafting of technical documentation of interest to public bodies and public law entities of the Administration, with skills and contracting management of works and maintenance on infrastructure and buildings.

The creation of this Committee, designed as a working group, has been approved at the proposal of the Undersecretary of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, President of the Commission, who will be part of it together with Ineco. In addition, several BIM experts from public entities such as ISDEFE , various private companies, the Building Smart Spanish chapter association, made up of agents from the entire construction sector (promoters/investors, construction companies, engineering firms, architecture studios, software developers, facility and project managers, research centers, manufacturers of products and materials, universities and public administrations) and technical staff from the Cabinet of the Undersecretary for Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, will also take part on this working group.

In the designation of the members of the Technical Committee, the fact that the MITMA Group accumulates 95% of the investment in contracts with BIM requirements has been taken into account, which turns the experiences of its experts into a relevant source of knowledge and transferable experiences to the rest of the Administration.
