Ineco has participated in the Europe's Rail Joint Undertaking dissemination day in the framework of the Railway Innovation Hub in Malaga to present the scope of the work that the company will undertake in this program as part of the membership of its shareholder ADIF.

Our colleagues Alfonso Lorenzo, coordinator of the contribution of Adif's membership (Adif, Renfe, Cedex and Ineco) in the area of Traffic Management Systems (TMS), together with Francisco Fernández de Líger, manager 2 of Technology Surveillance and Innovation, were in charge of representing Ineco at the meeting.

Within this new railway R&D program, Ineco will participate in innovation projects in the different work areas that make up the program. Key areas have been identified in which Ineco participates in order to maintain its strategic positioning due to its high level of experience (ERTMS or TMS) and other incipient areas of development in which training and new positioning are of interest, such as the use of hydrogen in railway or digitalisation applied to predictive maintenance or asset management.

Ineco is an associate member of Adif, which holds membership in the partnership (being one of the 25 founding members). In the last year, works has been carried out to define the program in structure, governance and programme of work. The partnership was officially launched on December 21, 2021.

ERJU is the R&D program in the railway domain belonging to the new Horizon Europe Framework Program, corresponding to the period 2021-2027, formed and co-financed by 25 members of the European railway industry and the European Commission.
