Ineco will advise the Corporación Ferroviaria de Uruguay (DND) on the review of the signalling and telecommunications project for the Paso de los Toros railway line, which is being carried out before the work commences. Our company has already provided the consulting services for the supervision of the drafting of the project and the project management of the Central Railway.

The Paso de los Toros Railway includes the construction and maintenance of 273 kilometres of railway between the port of Montevideo and the city of Paso de los Toros, applying the highest European safety standards.  The project is part of the transport infrastructure program that Uruguay is developing to strengthen its logistics platform, complementing the railway with the truck and the port system.

Ineco's work is the result of the agreement signed in 2017 between Spain's Ministry of Transport, Mobility and the Urban Agenda (MITMA) and Uruguay's Ministry of Transport and Public Works (MTOP).
