The Costa Rican Ministry of Public Works and Transport has once again entrusted Ineco with the administrative, legal and environmental management of the country's Road Infrastructure Program. The objective of the PIT and PIV-APP programs is to contribute to Costa Rica's competitiveness through the improvement and environmentally sustainable expansion of road and port infrastructure, in the case of PIV-APP, by supporting the development of road infrastructure projects through public-private partnership models.

Among others, Ineco will continue to develop planning, programming, coordination and management actions for the products defined in the Program, such as: the development of studies, designs and road works, urban works complementary to roadways, support for the management of the Unpostponable Works (OBIS), technical and institutional strengthening of the National Concessions Council (CNC), the Ministry of Public Works and Transportation (MOPT) and the Ministry of Finance to manage PPP projects and support for the strengthening of gender equity and people with disabilities.

Ineco has been collaborating since 2004 in several programs to improve Costa Rica's transport infrastructure, including advising the government on the country's Transport Infrastructure Plan (PIT), which aims to modernize road and port infrastructure, as well as improving project administration, auditing and evaluation processes, and which is the framework for the new activity to be developed by our company.
