Ineco RuralTIC programme: Our digital nomads at a glance

New municipalities have received our digital nomads of the second edition of the Ineco RuralTIC programme in February and March. Here you could find some of them: Mansilla Mayor and Sahagún (León), La Vall d'Ebo (Alicante), Acehúche, Talaván and Torremocha (Cáceres). A Pontenova and Sober (Lugo), Gaucín (Málaga),Valoria la Buena (Valladolid),Huete (Cuenca),Mogarraz (Salamanca),La Roda de Andalucía (Sevilla); Aras de los Olmos (Valencia); Torrenueva (Ciudad Real); Sant Lluís (Menorca); Carnota (A Coruña); Guitiriz (Lugo); Hiendelaencina (Guadalajara); Fuentes de León, Oliva de la Frontera and Campanario (Badajoz); Lena and Castropol (Asturias) and Ascó (Tarragona).

Thanks to their work, combining daily professional life with the dedication to this programme, local digitalisation is promoted, based on the needs expressed by the local inhabitants and SMEs.

A total of 79 Spanish municipalities with less than 10,000 inhabitants have joined this pioneering programme for the digitalisation of the rural world. This figure represents a doubling of the territorial scope of this initiative compared to the first edition of Ineco RuralTIC.
