Be part of the team responsible of the design of road solutions concerning the crosses at a different level with the new railway track designed for the ‘Latvia North’ and ‘Riga’ projects. Road design includes access and maintenance lateral roads, parallel to railway alignment, as well as reconstruction of affected roads.
Contact and attend meetings with different Latvian stakeholders related to the project in order to reach agreements and approval of the technical solutions.
Give support in the knowledge, interpretation and application of Latvian standards of Road design
Collaborate with the Latvian and Spanish team
Experience in drafting highway / roads projects is valuable
High level of Latvian and English
Knowledge of all the regulations to carry out the design of the project and knowledge of dealing with the Public Administration is valuable
Availability to travel
Immediate incorporation
Bachelor degree in Transportation Engineering or Civil Engineering
IT tools used in the Project (knowledge is convenient, not indispensable):
o Open Roads
o Istram
o Microstation
o AUTOCAD
o LSR pavement calculation software
o Operation with BIS system
