    After more than 16 years, I’m still enthusiastic about my work at Ineco. For me, the most outstanding thing is the excellent people I've met here and with whom I've been lucky enough to share great moments, both personally and professionally. At Ineco, I’ve had the chance to participate in several sustainable mobility projects and in successful tenders for national transport plans, airport developments in Latin America, and the design of high-speed rail in the United Kingdom

    The company’s workforce grew to over 2,000. An office in Mexico was opened to carry out the Buenavista-Cuautitlán commuter rail line project, on which it worked until 2009. Airport projects included the operational readiness and transfer (ORAT) of Madrid-Barajas Airport’s new T4 terminal (2004-2006) and collaboration with Aena on the design of commercial spaces. On the roads, Ineco drafted the project for the second stretch of the Alcarria highway. Ineco’s high-speed work included the design and works management of the Lleida-Tarragona HS section of the Madrid-Barcelona line and Camp de Tarragona HS station (2006). This section saw the entering into service of ERTMS for the first time, with technical assistance provided by Ineco. The company received the International Road Federation Global Achievement Award for best research work, entitled Public private partnership options for the second generation of motorway developments in Poland and the EuroTAP best tunnel award for the design of a tunnel on the M-12 highway. Ineco began to participate in European Framework programmes.

    Featured projects

    -Completion of tunnelling on the Abdalajís and Arroyo las Piedras viaduct tunnels, on the Córdoba-Málaga high-speed line, and works on the Arroyo del Valle viaduct, on the Madrid-Segovia-Valladolid high-speed line.
    - Electrification sizing project on the Valdestillas-Valladolid section (Madrid-Segovia-Valladolid line).
    -Algiers tram system: first tram project abroad. Ineco designed the layout, substations and maintenance depot and coordinated the project with the works.
    -Beginning of project drafting for the covering of a railway line in Logroño. - First hydrogeological studies on the Pajares bypass.
