The new headquarters site of the UNWTO World Tourism closer to inauguration

Our colleague Julián Jiménez de Tejada, director of the refurbishment and extension works of building B of the Palacio de Congresos in Madrid, has participated in an institutional act in which key issues of this project have been presented to the Minister of Industry, Tourism and Trade, Jordi Hereu, and the Secretary - General of the UNWTO World Tourism Organisation, Zurab Pololikashvili.

Ineco was in charge of drawing up this project and is currently managing the remodelling and extension works of building B of the Palacio de Congresos in Madrid for TURESPAÑA. This building, which will become the UNWTO headquarters site, will have a total floor area of approximately 9,000 m2 (1,300 m2 of new construction and 7,700 m2 of refurbished floor area).

The company, which has a multidisciplinary team of specialists in building, interior design, building pathologies, installations in their different aspects, sustainability, etc., has also been in charge of the refurbishment of the new headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the European Union and Cooperation and the headquarters of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation and AESA.
