Ineco has revised the technical standards for the development of the Polish high-speed rail network.

Our company has completed the revision of the technical standards for the development of high-speed rail. This work has been carried out together with CPK (Centralny Port Komunikacyjny Sp. z o.o.), which has just published version 3.0. of the new Polish high-speed rail standards.

CPK is the public company created by the Polish government in 2018 and aims to lead the design, management and implementation of the new Warsaw Airport and Poland's national high-speed network (STH project, Solidarity Transport Hub).

Since August 2022, Ineco has carried out this high-level collaborative project together with the best experts from CPK and the Polish Railway Institute, focused on the revision of the technical standards that will guide the design, construction, maintenance and operation of more than 2,000 km of high-speed lines in Poland. This work guarantees their full integration thanks to their interoperability and compatibility with all the most modern and cutting-edge EU rail traffic control standards.

This project has involved the participation of leading experts from different areas of Ineco, covering technical disciplines such as civil works, track, layout, topography, drainage, gauges, geotechnics, tunnels, structures, catenary, signalling, communications, energy, rolling stock, roads, architecture, environment, vibrations, affected services, maintenance and safety, among others.

This collaboration has made it possible for Ineco and Spanish technology to enter a country which, in the coming years, could consolidate its position as a benchmark for high-speed rail in Europe.
