The event was held in Granada
Ineco took part in the annual CIVINET Iberia conference, held in Granada, reinforcing its position as a leading reference in sustainable mobility and transport planning in Spain. The company, which works on the design and implementation of mobility policies, strategies and projects, shared its expertise at one of the leading forums for knowledge exchange among cities, companies and specialist organisations from Spain and Portugal.
During the event, Borja Moreno, Transport, Mobility and Digitalisation Specialist in Infrastructure Grants, served as one of the session moderators. Discussions focused on key topics including the electrification of public transport, sustainable workplace mobility plans, the practical implementation of the forthcoming Mobility Act, and the use of simulation tools to support more effective decision-making.
Ineco’s participation in the event follows its recent appointment as a CIVINET Iberia Ambassador. CIVINET Iberia is the Spanish and Portuguese network within the European CIVITAS initiative, promoted by the European Commission to advance sustainable mobility and accelerate the decarbonisation of transport. This designation recognises Ineco’s track record in the mobility sector and strengthens its ability to contribute to the exchange of knowledge and best practices among public authorities, operators and industry stakeholders.
As a network ambassador, Ineco will support the promotion of innovative initiatives, the creation of collaborative spaces and the development of projects aligned with European sustainability objectives.
With extensive experience in mobility planning, public transport, active mobility, digitalisation and project financing, Ineco is currently involved in some of the most significant transport transformation initiatives in Spain and internationally. Its incorporation into CIVINET Iberia marks a further step in the company’s commitment to developing solutions that help create more sustainable, accessible and people-centred cities.
