Guardians of structures

Ineco has a multidisciplinary team made up of more than 60 professionals that has positioned our company as the benchmark engineering company in pathology studies and structural assessment.

Since its foundation, Ineco has been immersed in this activity, thanks to its specialists in metallic structures, concrete bridges, building pathology, load tests and monitoring and specialised follow-up of high-speed infrastructures. Their work consists of checking whether the structures, in the current situation, can withstand the loads for which they were designed or whether they can withstand new stresses due to increases in load or use. This inspection work is carried out by personnel on foot with the support of drones, as they have technicians who are qualified as pilots.

Thanks to the fact that they can take charge of all phases of structure maintenance (inspection, monitoring, structure calculation, definition of repairs and reinforcements, technical assistance to the site...), at Ineco we offer comprehensive solutions in our projects.

Experiencia e innovación para lograr el éxito

Experience eIn addition to monitoring the Spanish high-speed infrastructure from its origins, in recent years this team has carried out projects such as the repair of the Martin Gil viaduct, which has been awarded the prize for the best engineering project by the ARPHO Association, or projects with special pathologies such as the study of the condition and proposed solution for the seawall of the Levante dyke in the Port of Malaga. He has also been responsible for the inspection and assessment of more than 1,000 motorway bridges and has collaborated in the refurbishment and extension of the most important stations in Spain, such as Atocha and Chamartín in Madrid, Joaquín Sorolla in Valencia and Santiago de Compostela, among many others. Currently, it is worth highlighting the work being carried out on the replacement of the supports of the Marganell bridge, of great technical complexity; the work on the bridge over the Miño River; or the consultancy work for Rail Baltica, the high-speed railway in the Baltic countries.

Milestones that are only possible thanks to the know-how accumulated in the team and its evolution, process optimisation to provide the best solution for clients, as well as its commitment to constant innovation. In this regard, it is worth highlighting projects such as Smart Bridge and Ineco SAR for monitoring structures using satellite photography or the collaboration with Adif and Renfe in European innovation projects such as ERJU FAP 3. As a result of this innovative nature, in 2015, the company began to incorporate the use of drones in its work with the internal projects "Microdrones for the inspection of structures" and "Multi-purpose drone".
