Ineco has taken part in the conference dedicated to ERTMS organised by the European Union Agency for Railways (ERA) in Valenciennes, France. The event, a leading technical forum, brought together the main players in the European rail sector to analyse progress and challenges in the deployment of the system.

The company was represented by professionals from the ERTMS Management team, with a prominent role in the various sessions of the programme. Within this context, Silvia Domínguez, ERTMS Manager at Ineco, took part in a panel focused on the technical factors with the greatest impact on costs, as well as on measures that could help to reduce them.

This participation coincides with the recent publication of the third Work Plan of the European ERTMS Coordinator, to which Ineco has contributed through technical development together with its partners EY‑Parthenon and Blue Arches, within the ERTMS Deployment Management Team (DMT). This plan is a key reference for the European rail sector, as it reviews progress to date, identifies the main challenges for the implementation of the system and sets out the actions required to meet deployment targets across the Trans‑European Transport Network (TEN‑T) by 2030.

With more than a decade of technical collaboration with the European Commission within the DMT framework and extensive experience in national and international projects, Ineco continues to strengthen its position as a technical benchmark in the development and deployment of ERTMS in Europe.
