Ineco has climbed two places to enter the top 10 of the ranking compiled by the US magazine Engineering News-Record (ENR) for construction and programme management. The company has moved from 12th place in the previous edition to 10th in the latest ranking.
This ranking forms part of ENR’s annual Top 250 International Contractors report. ENR is one of the world’s leading publications for the engineering and construction sectors. Among its various categories, the ranking in which Ineco appears assesses companies headquartered outside the United States based on the revenue, or fees in ENR terminology, generated through the management, coordination and supervision of projects and major infrastructure programmes, both in their home markets and internationally. Spain is also represented among the leading companies in this category by Sener, ranked seventh, and Ayesa, in ninth place.
The ENR report analyses the activities of the world’s leading engineering and construction firms and is considered one of the most influential international benchmarks for assessing their scale, specialisation and presence across different markets.
This year’s edition also highlights the international strength of the Spanish engineering and construction sector. A total of eleven Spanish companies feature in the ranking of the 250 firms generating the highest revenue outside their home countries, with ACS once again topping the global list.
Ineco’s entry into the top 10 for construction and programme management underscores the company’s ability to deliver technical expertise, multidisciplinary coordination and an integrated approach to the management of complex infrastructure projects and programmes, both in Spain and in international markets.
