Ineco’s President, Sergio Vázquez Torrón, attended the opening of the exhibition
Our company is taking part in the photographic exhibition “Madrid Resiliente”, an initiative led by the School of Civil Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Madrid, which invites visitors to reflect on the role of infrastructure in responding to crisis scenarios.
Ineco’s President, Sergio Vázquez Torrón, attended the opening event alongside representatives from the other collaborating and organising entities. The initiative highlights how energy, water, transport and telecommunications operate as interconnected systems that ensure the continuity of essential services during emergencies.
The exhibition offers a visual and educational journey through Madrid’s resilience in the face of climatic, health and technological challenges. It underscores not only the importance of engineering and infrastructure planning, but also the collaboration and expertise of the professionals who make their operation possible. Among the images selected for the exhibition is a photograph by Elvira Gómez, a member of Ineco’s Executive Directorate of Corporate Coordination.
“Madrid Resiliente” is open to the public until April 30 at the Montaña Artificial (Artificial Hill) in Madrid’s Retiro Park. Admission is free, and the programme includes a range of activities for all audiences.
