The company has presented five cutting-edge projects in digitalisation and maintenance at the first session of the Inno Tech Days, reflecting its commitment to efficiency, sustainability, and safety in transport.
This initiative is aimed at giving visibility to the company's most innovative technological developments, as well as fostering collaboration between internal areas and with strategic clients.
At this event, which was held at the Garaje Tech space, the projects were presented:
• ERTMS and ATO: This project proposes an action plan to reduce the necessary checks in ERTMS systems, thus facilitating railway interoperability in Europe. It also automates the analysis of compatibility tests and studies the variability of actual train runs, the first step towards future automatic train operation (ATO).
• DigitalizAT: Focused on the digitalisation of the authorisation management processes in ADIF's affected areas, this development represents a substantial improvement in time, costs, and standardisation of procedures throughout the national territory.
• DiGAV: An onboard device with LIDAR technology and artificial intelligence algorithms capable of detecting defects in tracks and equipment, allowing for faster, more objective, and automated inspection.
• FISURIA: A mobile application that, thanks to depth sensors and computer vision, allows for the precise detection and measurement of structural cracks, surpassing traditional manual methods.
• InecoSAR: Using data from the Sentinel satellites of the Copernicus programme, this tool allows for the monitoring of ground and structural deformations over time, with predictive capabilities through AI and machine learning.
