Ineco's Board of Directors has approved the opening of a permanent branch in California with the aim of positioning itself for the opportunities that this North American state offers in the short and medium term and as a spearhead for Spanish engineering in the United States.

Promoted by the California High Speed Rail Authority (CAHSR), the first of these projects is the development of the new high-speed line that will connect the cities of Los Angeles and San Francisco in less than 3 hours through California's Central Valley. The new 800km rail corridor will be equipped with numerous European standards.

Spearhead of Spanish engineering

This backdrop will provide a unique opportunity add value to Ineco's 3,000 professionals devoted to the railway sector, more than 1,000 of whom are already working on high-speed projects such as the Spanish High Speed network ( AVE), the Haramain line in Saudi Arabia, HS2 in the United Kingdom, or the Houston-Dallas line in Texas. All projects with high international visibility in the global high-speed rail industry.

Ineco acts as a promoter and driving force for the internationalisation of the sector in our country, currently collaborating with other Spanish companies in 34 international contracts. The Mitma Group company already has experience in the United States with projects such as the Newark Airport ORAT, technical assistance for the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the high-speed line between Dallas and Houston or the ORAT of the Penn Station concourse in New York.
