Ineco President Sergio Vázquez Torrón welcomed Spain's Minister of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, Óscar Puente, to the company's stand at InnoTrans, highlighting Ineco's contribution to showcasing Spanish railway expertise around the world.
Ineco is once again taking part in InnoTrans, the world's leading international trade fair for railway technology, bringing together nearly 2,800 exhibitors and around 138,000 visitors from more than 135 countries in Berlin from 22 to 25 September. The company is highlighting its high-speed rail capabilities, an area in which it has accumulated experience across more than 12,000 kilometres of rail lines and projects worldwide.
Ineco's Chairman, Sergio Vázquez Torrón, welcomed Spain's Minister of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, Óscar Puente, to the company's stand, underscoring Ineco's contribution to promoting Spanish railway expertise around the world. In Spain alone, Ineco has been involved in the entire high-speed rail network throughout all stages of development. This experience has positioned the company as a trusted partner for countries embarking on their first high-speed rail projects.
Ineco's involvement in recent high-speed rail initiatives in Canada, Vietnam, Poland and the United Arab Emirates is further strengthening the international profile of Spain's public engineering sector. It is also creating opportunities for other Spanish rail companies by fostering economic, technical and commercial cooperation.
Ineco is part of the Spanish delegation coordinated by MAFEX, which this year brings together more than 70 companies from the Spanish railway industry, with the support of ICEX Spain Trade and Investment.
Innovation, ERTMS and International High-Speed Rail
Ineco's programme at InnoTrans also includes a series of presentations focused on innovation and some of the railway sector's most significant future challenges.
As part of the MAFEX Innovation Tour, the company is showcasing a drone-in-a-box system designed to advance the remote operation of infrastructure. The solution enables autonomous operations, continuous monitoring and remote control from operational centres, opening up new possibilities for infrastructure supervision and management.
Meanwhile, Silvia Domínguez, ERTMS Manager, will take part in a panel discussion examining the evolution of the European Rail Traffic Management System (ERTMS) and the work carried out within the European Commission's ERTMS Deployment Management Team.
Ineco's international high-speed rail expertise will also be featured through the participation of Pablo Ramos, Deputy Director for Land Transport Accounts in Europe, Africa, Asia and Oceania, in the conference Connecting Territories: Technical Expertise Driving the Hanoi-Ho Chi Minh City High-Speed Rail Project. His presentation will focus on the technical expertise being applied to the future high-speed railway between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, where Ineco serves as adviser to the Thang Long Project Management Unit.
Ineco's presence at InnoTrans is complemented by an intensive commercial agenda, with more than 25 meetings scheduled with companies, public authorities and railway operators from international markets.
