Ineco was represented by Nuria Albó, Data Scientist at the company
Ineco has once again placed its commitment to innovation on the international stage. The company took part in Future Faster Today, an event held at Norrsken House Barcelona — a leading hub for technological and sustainable entrepreneurship — which brought together nearly one hundred international experts to analyse the impact of emerging technologies.
Ineco was represented by Nuria Albó, Data Scientist, who presented how Spain’s public engineering sector is integrating advanced technologies into strategic mobility and infrastructure projects. Her presentation highlighted the real-world application of tools such as artificial intelligence and digital twins to optimise urban mobility and enhance the predictive maintenance of critical infrastructure.
Albó explained that these solutions enable the anticipation of incidents, the simulation of complex scenarios, and data‑driven decision-making, thereby increasing the efficiency and sustainability of transport systems. She emphasised that technological innovation is not a theoretical exercise, but a practical lever for improving the planning and operation of increasingly demanding networks.
During her contribution, she also noted that Ineco is actively exploring the potential of quantum computing, a technology that, although still under development, could in future transform the planning, simulation, and optimisation of complex systems. These capabilities, she stated, will allow large‑scale challenges to be addressed using new, advanced computational tools.
Organised by Futurity Systems, the event addressed key topics such as artificial intelligence, quantum computing, the future of agriculture, sustainability, and smart cities. Within this multidisciplinary context, Ineco’s presence reinforced its positioning as a benchmark in the practical application of emerging technologies to the fields of engineering and mobility.
The agenda also included collaborative workshops focused on idea generation and the management of risks associated with innovation. To conclude, Albó visited, together with other participants, the Barcelona Supercomputing Center, one of Europe’s leading supercomputing facilities — an experience that aligns with Ineco’s commitment to integrating advanced computational capabilities into its projects.
Through its participation in Future Faster Today, Ineco strengthens its presence in international innovation forums and reaffirms its commitment to technological transformation in support of smarter, more sustainable and more resilient infrastructure.
