Ineco has once again demonstrated its cybersecurity capabilities by participating in the 2026 edition of the Security and Business Continuity Exercise (SBCE), the annual exercise organised by eu-LISA to test incident response and business continuity arrangements for Europe's large-scale IT systems. eu-LISA is the European Union Agency responsible for the operational management of large-scale IT systems in the area of freedom, security and justice.

Ineco's contribution, through the team supporting the digital transformation of Spain's Ministry of the Presidency, Justice and Relations with Parliament, was delivered from two complementary perspectives this year.

José Luis Churata and José Luis Balzola, project managers within the Cybersecurity Centre teams, took part as players alongside their incident management and perimeter operations teams, responding to the various scenarios presented during the exercise.

Meanwhile, Alberto Bodego, Audit Project Manager, and Raúl Renales, Head of Cybersecurity Services, contributed as planners during the preparation phase in the months leading up to the SBCE and subsequently monitored the exercise as observers on the day.

Exercises of this kind help identify potential areas for improvement, assess the effectiveness of established procedures and strengthen teams' preparedness to respond to incidents that could affect critical digital services.

Participation in the SBCE further reinforces Ineco's involvement in major European cybersecurity exercises, following the company's participation in the 2025 edition.
