This initiative forms part of Ineco’s commitment to promoting equal opportunities and encouraging STEM careers among younger generations
Once again, Ineco has taken part in Technovation Girls, the international programme that promotes technological education, entrepreneurship and interest in STEM careers among girls and young people aged between 8 and 18.
During a one-day event held at Ineco’s offices in Pozuelo, two groups of girls aged 8 and 12 had the opportunity to explore the world of innovation and technology through practical, dynamic and collaborative activities designed to spark their interest in scientific and digital disciplines.
Throughout the session, the participants presented some of the projects they have been developing as part of the Technovation Girls programme, through which they are discovering how technology can be used to provide creative solutions to real-life problems. They also took part in artificial intelligence workshops led by Ineco professionals, where they learned how to use digital tools for learning, content generation and computer game creation.
The day also included activities focused on user experience and digital accessibility, allowing the girls to design their own web pages and become familiar with concepts related to usability and the development of inclusive digital environments. Another highlight was an immersive experience using virtual reality headsets, through which the participants explored new forms of technological interaction and learned about some of the applications of these tools across different fields.
This initiative forms part of Ineco’s commitment to promoting equal opportunities and encouraging STEM vocations among younger generations. Through actions such as this, the company helps to bring technology closer to girls and young people in a practical, inspiring and accessible way, fostering interest in science and technology from an early age.
