The participatory spirit of Ineco has once again come together for “You Choose,” the company’s solidarity program now in its eleventh edition, which gives Ineco professionals the opportunity to select the social causes that inspire them and support their work. At an event held in the Ágora Hall, bringing together the program’s protagonists, the voting results were presented: 31 social projects will receive a total allocation of €30,000, tripling Ineco’s contribution in this edition. All participating initiatives will receive funding proportional to the votes obtained, with a minimum allocation of €300 per project, aiming to collaborate with as many NGOs as possible.

The presentation was opened by Ineco’s president, Sergio Vázquez Torrón, who emphasized that this program is “part of our commitment to help people affected by misfortunes such as where you are born or at what moment.”

The event, hosted by África Jiménez Lacaci, Deputy Director of Institutional Relations and Corporate Social Responsibility, allowed Ineco’s sponsors—employees who champion an NGO—to highlight the social projects they support, alongside representatives of the organizations themselves. The candidates, coming from different social spheres, were grouped into four thematic categories: Health and Disability, Rare Diseases, Cooperation and Development, and Human and Community Rights.

In each of these categories, we learned firsthand inspiring stories from associations such as ATENPACE, which provides assistance to people with cerebral palsy; AMC España, fighting against Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita; UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East), offering assistance and protection to nearly 6 million Palestinian refugees; and FIET, combating human trafficking. All these initiatives join the efforts of the remaining 31 NGOs selected by Ineco’s team to continue promoting social justice together.
