Ineco is collaborating with UPM Conecta, an initiative aimed at breaking down traditional academic barriers and promoting more cross‑disciplinary learning. Once a term, the Polytechnic University of Madrid dedicates a full week to bringing together researchers, students and professionals, while also opening its activities to society at large through outreach, technological and social initiatives.

Within this framework, UPM Investiga, the university’s first global research fair, has taken place. The event brought together companies, public administrations and the research community to showcase some of the most innovative and high‑impact projects developed at the university. The fair also served as a meeting point for the exchange of ideas, knowledge transfer and the creation of new collaboration opportunities in key fields such as sustainability, digitalisation, mobility and health.

For more than two decades, Ineco has maintained a close relationship with the Polytechnic University of Madrid, helping to bring professional practice closer to students, promote specialisation in highly technical fields, and jointly participate in initiatives that drive the evolution and modernisation of mobility.

In this context, Ineco and the Agustín de Betancourt Foundation , the technological partner of the School of Civil Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Madrid , signed an agreement to advance research into predicting flooding in urban areas. This initiative forms part of Ineco’s iCampus network, an innovative programme developed by the company to promote scientific‑technical research, knowledge transfer, and interaction among experts from the scientific, technical and business communities.
