The Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) and engineering and consultancy firm Ineco have awarded two social scholarships for the 2025–2026 academic year to students in situations of economic or social vulnerability. Each grant, worth €3,000, was presented during an event dedicated to the Alumni UPV “Non Stop” Scholarship Programme, managed by Alumni UPV and the university’s Fundraising Department.

The awards ceremony was attended by Beatriz Vázquez, Institutional Relations & CSR Manager and coordinator of the Social Scholarships Programme, as well as María Beltrán,  Special Projects and Territorial Manager for Valencia at Ineco. Their participation underscored the company’s commitment to equal opportunities and to education as a driver of young people’s personal and professional development.

The scholarships form part of Ineco’s Social Scholarships Programme, an initiative aimed at facilitating access to education and improving academic and career prospects for individuals facing financial or social challenges. The programme aims to award around 50 scholarships across Spain in 2026, in collaboration with universities, foundations and social organisations, with total investment exceeding €150,000, funded through company contributions and voluntary donations from its workforce.

The partnership between UPV and Ineco continues for another year, reinforcing both institutions’ commitment to inclusion, support for talent, and the removal of barriers to higher education. The collaboration, which began in 2022 and has now been renewed for 2026, will bring the total number of scholarships awarded through the partnership to seven.

UPV is part of a network of 25 universities, foundations and social organisations with which Ineco works to expand the reach of its scholarships programme across Spain and Latin America. Since its inception, the initiative has supported more than 200 grants for students and individuals in vulnerable situations, helping to create educational and professional opportunities and contributing to a more inclusive society.
