Hanoi has hosted the international roadshow for package TV02 of Vietnam’s future North–South high-speed line, a strategic event that brought together around 80 international companies and more than 200 professionals, underlining progress on one of the world’s most ambitious rail projects.

Ineco is part of the consortium, alongside France’s Artelia, its subsidiary Artelia Vietnam and local partner RCIC, advising the Thang Long Project Management Unit (TLPMU) on the development of its high-speed rail. This marks a decisive phase in defining the technical scope, operational requirements and costs that will shape the subsequent stages of the line’s design.

Organised by the Thang Long Project Management Unit (TLPMU), in collaboration with the consortium, the event served to present preliminary details of a contract set to mark a turning point in rail development across South-East Asia. The TV02 package forms part of the high-speed mega-project that will link Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City via a 1,541km corridor, deemed a national priority by Vietnam’s National Assembly and valued at around $67bn.

Carles Viader, Rail Projects Manager; Israel González, Manager for Special Projects; and Jesús Galende, Bids Manager, represented Ineco at the event, which highlighted the strong global interest generated by the future infrastructure.
