Mar Charle, Planning and Sustainable Mobility Manager at Ineco, was a featured speaker at the V Legaldrone Conference held at the Faculty of Law, Complutense University of Madrid. This event has become a key gathering for professionals in the legal and technological sectors of the aerospace industry, bringing together national and international experts to discuss the regulatory and technical challenges of advanced air mobility.

Our colleague participated in a panel titled "Relevance of the White Paper on Vertiports," moderated by Antonio Sousa Lamas. During her presentation, Charle contributed her specialised insights on the safe integration of vertiports into the airspace and emphasized the critical role of operational safety in this emerging paradigm of urban air mobility. The White Paper on Vertiports, developed by Ineco in collaboration with various sector stakeholders within the SIAM framework, is a strategic document analysing the technical, regulatory, and operational requirements necessary for the development and integration of vertiports in urban environments. This pioneering guide provides a comprehensive overview of how infrastructure can be adapted to accommodate new forms of air mobility, such as eVTOL vehicles. It addresses key aspects including operational safety, urban planning, environmental sustainability, and interoperability with managed airspace. Its content acts as a reference for public authorities, operators, and regulators involved in designing and deploying these innovative infrastructures.

The conference, organized by the G-BioDIn LAW Research Group and the Spanish Association of Aeronautical and Space Law (AEDAE), covered topics such as High-Altitude Pseudo-Satellites (HAPS), urban planning for vertiports, and the development of legal frameworks tailored to new flight technologies.
