
The 5th Space Legal Congress, held in Madrid, brought together experts, institutional representatives, and industry professionals to discuss the regulatory, operational, and strategic challenges of the new space environment.
Within the framework of the 5th Space Law Congress, Antonio Águila, CNS - ATM Systems manager , participated as a speaker in a panel dedicated to the regulatory and operational challenges of the space ecosystem.
During his participation, he highlighted the key role played by entities such as Ineco in the development of the aerospace sector: "one of our tasks is to be facilitators of regulations, supporting institutions in their creation." In this regard, he has focused on the challenges faced by organisations such as the Spanish Aviation Safety Agency (AESA) and the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGAC), especially concerning space operations and the need for appropriate regulatory frameworks. He also highlighted that his team's work is not limited to the regulatory field, but also includes the definition of operational procedures, the processing of applications for air operations, civil-military coordination, and strategic support to organisations.
