Speech by the Minister for Transport and Sustainable Mobility, Óscar Puente

Ineco joined the delegation of Spanish companies that accompanied the Minister of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, Óscar Puente, at the Czech Republic-Spain Business Forum on "Challenges and solutions for sustainable transport", organised by ICEX and the Spanish Economic and Commercial Office in the country. The event was attended by Martin Kupka, Czech Minister of Transport, and other officials from the Czech Administration responsible for the strategy and implementation of railway development plans in the market.

During the event, Víctor Bustos, Commercial Director, and Rocío Gutiérrez,  Commercial Deputy Director and head of the European delegation, held several meetings to analyse potential business opportunities in the Czech Republic. Short and medium-term opportunities include the construction of new rail corridors, the planning of high-speed lines and sections (Prague-Ostrava, Dresden-Prague, Brno-Bratislava-Budapest, Ostrava-Katowice), modernisation, electrification and doubling of tracks on existing routes, modernisation needs and the purchase of new rolling stock, among others.
