Ineco participated in the Airport Innovation Roundtable 2025, an event organised by the V4+Airports association, which brought together experts from the airport sector to discuss innovation and planning.

The company was present on the panel titled "Predicting the Future: Master Planning in a Rapidly Changing World", where the strategic value of anticipating changes in the airport sector was addressed. During his speech, Ignacio Fernández-Cuenca, Consultancy, Environment and Information Technologies manager at Ineco, emphasised that predicting is the basis of long-term planning. He also added that planners have the responsibility to provide airports with the best possible forecasts and solutions aligned with their strategies, thus enabling solid and adaptable decision-making.

As an example of good practices, the cases of Spain were presented, where the future development of the airport system is guaranteed through the legal protection of master plans and the use of the affected land. In this context, the examples of Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas and Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat airports were highlighted, illustrating how a long-term vision allows for successfully facing future challenges. This meeting has reaffirmed the importance of international collaboration and a strategic approach for the sustainable development of airports in a constantly changing context.
