Ineco brings the future closer to the new generations. Our company has welcomed a group of 4th-year ESO students to its Garage Tech innovation space for a day organised in collaboration with the Madrid College of Civil Engineers.
The initiative has allowed us to introduce them to engineering, technology, and innovation applied to sustainable mobility and the transformation of public services.
During the visit, the group of students took part in a tour of various technological demonstrations developed by Ineco professionals. Notable examples included the drone simulator, which allows for the recreation of operations in virtual environments for training and planning; the BIM simulator, an immersive platform based on metaverse technologies for the comprehensive management of infrastructure; DIGAV, a railway inspection solution that uses artificial intelligence and computer vision to detect incidents in the infrastructure; and AEGIS, an advanced system for the detection and tracking of drones in critical infrastructure environments through the integration of multiple sensors. Through these demonstrations, they were able to see how the innovation developed at Ineco translates into real solutions that contribute to improving the efficiency, safety, and sustainability of public services and infrastructure.
The visit concluded with a meeting with professionals from the company, who shared their experiences and answered questions about training, career paths, and opportunities linked to engineering, technology, and innovation.
With initiatives like this, Ineco reaffirms its commitment to the dissemination of knowledge and the promotion of STEM vocations among younger people, bringing them closer to the role that engineering and innovation play in building a more sustainable, connected, and accessible future for all.
