Our company took part in the Railway Talent Meet, an event organised by the Higher Polytechnic School of Engineering of Vilanova i la Geltrú, part of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), aimed at introducing the railway sector to the next generation of professionals.
During the event, representatives from Ineco shared their experience in railway projects with students, offering first-hand insight into the current and future challenges facing the sector, as well as the innovative solutions being developed to improve infrastructure and mobility. The company was represented by Anna Sánchez Álvarez, Territorial Manager for Catalonia and Manager of Conventional Network Maintenance; Luis Ubalde Claver, PMO and Construction Management Specialist; and Nerea Salinero Aguilar, Recruitment Specialist at Ineco.
Throughout the session, they outlined the company’s main lines of work in the railway field – from project planning and management to the application of innovation in transport infrastructure. Participation in this type of initiative enables the company to strengthen its ties with the academic community and to inspire interest in a sector that is strategic for the mobility of the future.
The event, which brings together railway companies, industry professionals and educational institutions each year, aims to connect young talent with career opportunities in the railway sector and to encourage new vocations in an area that is essential for the development of more sustainable mobility.
