Ineco has moved up two places to enter the top 10 of the ranking compiled by the US magazine Engineering News-Record (ENR) for construction and programme management. The company has risen from 12th place in the previous edition to 10th in the current ranking.

This ranking forms part of ENR’s annual Top 250 International Contractors report. ENR is one of the world’s leading publications for the engineering and construction sectors. Among its various categories, the ranking in which Ineco appears assesses companies headquartered outside the United States according to the revenue—or fees, in ENR terminology—generated through the management, coordination and supervision of projects and major infrastructure programmes, both domestically and internationally. Spain’s presence among the leading companies in this category also includes Sener, ranked seventh, and Ayesa, in ninth place.

The ENR report analyses the activities of the world’s leading construction and engineering companies and is regarded as one of the most relevant international benchmarks for assessing their size, specialisation and presence across different markets.

This year’s edition also highlights the strength of the Spanish sector internationally. A total of eleven Spanish construction and engineering companies feature in the ranking of the 250 companies generating the highest revenue outside their home countries, with ACS once again topping the global ranking.

Ineco’s entry into the top 10 for construction and programme management underlines the company’s ability to contribute technical expertise, multidisciplinary coordination and a comprehensive approach to the management of major infrastructure projects and programmes, both in Spain and across international markets.
