In close collaboration with the University of Cantabria and LADICIM (Laboratory of the Division of Science and Engineering of Materials), Ineco is participating from June 26th to 29th in the 3rd edition of the Civil Engineering Week in Santander. It is an annual event that aims to bring civil engineering closer to the general public, showcasing its advancements and innovative solutions.
Ineco is present in the exhibition space of LADICIM, a pioneering laboratory with which it collaborates in developing innovation projects within the framework of i-Campus. The university, in this case LADICIM, provides its knowledge, while Ineco contributes with practical experience and the application of university knowledge.
The project already published and in which Ineco has collaborated, addresses the resilience of materials applied in railway infrastructure against the effects of extreme temperatures on fastening systems. These incidents, depending on their location and nature, can substantially compromise material durability and disrupt maintenance efforts, ultimately threatening the reliability of railway operations.
