Ineco is responsible for providing project management services to the Spanish Aviation Safety and Security Agency (AESA) during the design, construction and commissioning process of a number of works at its headquarters, located at Paseo de la Castellana 112 in Madrid.
The commission includes a series of key interventions aimed at improving energy efficiency, preserving the building and adapting its spaces to the Agency’s current needs. Among the main planned actions is the reconfiguration of the heating and cooling production systems located on the building’s roofs. This measure will optimise energy consumption and improve the overall performance of the facilities.
In addition, the project includes the replacement of window frames in order to bring them into line with the requirements set by the Institutional Commission for the Protection of Madrid’s Historical, Artistic and Natural Heritage. This intervention will help preserve the building’s architectural value while also enhancing its thermal and acoustic performance. The works will also involve the consolidation of the façades, which have been affected by deterioration caused by environmental factors and the passage of time, thereby ensuring the building’s safety and durability.
Alongside these actions, Ineco will carry out technical and economic studies to optimise the use of interior spaces, with the aim of improving functionality and adapting them to AESA’s current operational requirements, promoting more efficient and sustainable working environments.
This commission strengthens the close collaboration between both organisations: Ineco is supporting AESA in its process of transformation and organisational improvement, helping to define a roadmap that reinforces the Agency’s role as a public service and addresses the current needs of the aeronautical sector in Spain.
