Ineco has awarded two social grants to students from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), granted to a student of the Bachelor's Degree in Engineering of Telecommunication Technologies and Services, and to a student of the Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering.

These grants are part of the current collaboration agreement between Ineco and the UPC and form part of the Ascensor Social (Social Elevator) Programme, an initiative aimed at supporting young people facing economic or family difficulties so that they can continue and complete their academic training.

The award ceremony was attended by Francesc Torres, Rector of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, and Anna Sánchez, Manager of Conventional Network Maintenance and Territorial Representative for Catalonia, on behalf of Ineco.

In 2025, Ineco awarded a total of 45 grants in collaboration with 21 NGOs and universities, distributed across nine provinces and countries. With this initiative, the company reinforces its commitment to social development and the creation of real opportunities for talent to advance without personal circumstances becoming an obstacle.
